Whew!

That's about all I can say at this point. It's been a ruff week.. Yeah you hear that a lot lately from me. I'm not trying to be over dramatic or anything like that and I'm trying to keep up good spirits and Know That The Lord Is In Control. However that doesn't keep my heart from aching because after all I am human and I have emotions. But I am trusting in the Lord because I know thru trials and troubles we learn patience and we learn that the Lord is in all things.

On Sunday evening I was coming home from a wonderful day with family and after attending a great baby Shower for Jonathon and Shawna's baby girl Jaylynn. I came up the drive way and looked to my left and saw a cat. I looked to my right and saw our Beagle running as hard as she could towards the cat. Bad thing was my car was coming up the hill and she was almost at my tire when I saw her. Long story short without going into too many details our precious Paulie passed away Tuesday night. We brought her home Wednesday night and told the kids and then buried Paulie. Our old dog Katie who is around 18 years old now started falling this week and is unable to get up when she falls. I talked with Johnny this morning regarding putting her down since she layed all day Wednesday on a cold floor in her own urine. Not a good thing. So we're facing the lose of both our beautiful pets this week. To top Wednesday off Johnnys Aunt Fern was admitted to the hospital with heart problems. Great news on her front she had a stint yesterday and was able to come home today. Thank you Jesus.

As many of you know we had to close our business down in September. To say the year has not been easy is an understatement. However, we have a family that is coming to look at the cafe for a second time tomorrow so I'm hoping and praying that we'll be able to find buyers and move on to a knew phase in our lives.

Next week is Thanksgiving and I have a lot to be thankful for. I don't want it to sound like I am not thankful because I am. I have 4 wonderful children, a brand new grandson and a granddaughter due in January. We have a house over our heads, food on our table and jobs to go to each day and our children are healthy and happy. I also have wonderful friends and family members that lift me up in prayer. For that I thank you very much.

I have a couple of prayer requests for you. My cousin Tanis lost her Grandpa on Wednesday. They traveled to Yuma for the funeral please pray for her and her family during this difficult time. My cousin Amy's husband Keith lost his grandmother on Thursday and they will be travelling to TN this weekend. My friend Lisa's sister lost her husband over the weekend. She's now a single mom of three. Please keep Samantha in your prayers.

I send you my blessings.
thanks,
Tina
